I initially met Jodie as a WW Coach and instantly enjoyed her passion and devotion to health and wellness! After a year, I was very nervous but decided to reach out to ask her about her fitness training and coaching. I was very nervous due to feeling incredibly out of shape and intimidated. We started with an information meeting and then an evaluation. I was immediately drawn to her style of training and quickly learned that she was so different in her coaching techniques. She has a unique approach beyond fitness…she looks at the whole person and meets you where you are at while challenging you without feeling defeated. She has a unique capability to understand you individually and creating comprehensive goals based upon what you hope to achieve. We have been doing one on one training for a year now and she is part of my life…amazing person, coach, and friend!

- I am working to improve agility, strength, and balance in anticipation of future surgery.
- The social aspect of the group keeps me coming to each class and makes it more FUN.
- Jodie spends a lot of time setting up each night’s exercises for our group to develop our bodies.

In regards to strength training with Jodie it has been a life changing experience. I have not only recovered a lot of muscle mass that I lost due to age but also have lost inches and look more fit as my friends and family have noticed. I struggled to care for my toddler granddaughter with lifting her in and out of the car seat or highchair but can do this with ease now since working out 2x/week with Jodie. I’ve been working with Jodie for years. She started out as my Weight Watchers coach years ago, and then when she started to do personal training, I followed her. When she decided to open Jodie Needham Fitness, I was like, “Sign me up, girl!”
Around last July, I decided I needed to go to the doctor and get some check-ups done. Didn’t really like the results I saw, so I really got serious with my doctor and with Jodie, putting into effect all the things I’d learned over the years. So, you know the old adage, “garbage in, garbage out.” We are making sure we don’t put any garbage in! We are fueling this Ferrari the way it should be and losing weight! I’m already down 30 pounds and have about another 30 left to go.
Without this little, strong-willed dynamo named Jodie from Jodie Needham Fitness, I wouldn’t have reached these goals. So thank you, Jodie. I appreciate you so, so much.

I have always enjoyed walking for fitness, but I realized that it wasn’t enough of a workout anymore, and I needed to focus on core and upper body strength as well. I didn’t know where to start or what kind of strength exercises to try without hurting myself, so I decided to find a personal trainer.
I also have been a Weight Watchers alum for many years…sometimes “on program” but over the years more often “off program.” I wanted to clean up my diet as well.
Jodie has helped me with all of that because she is not only a fitness trainer, but also a WW coach. I feel like I have found the best of both worlds! She is so full of energy and positivity that she makes my workouts really fun, and even though they are challenging, I actually look forward to working out. I’ve been going to her for about 8 months now, and I’m down by almost 40 lbs. and 3 pant sizes! Plus, through the toning and muscle-building that I have accomplished, I am physically able to do so many things with ease that I struggled to do before. I feel so much healthier now!

I have been with Jodie now for 3 months and my goal was to start strength training – learn how to do it without injuring myself and, with time, to become stronger physically. To my surprise, I have gained much more than that. These are the things I have noticed during this time.
- I am physically stronger but I have also gained confidence in myself. In trying new exercises I would have never tried before, and Jodie is great at encouraging me when I have been fearful.
- I have also lost inched more than I have lost weight so this has been a plus!
- The bloat and cramping during my menstrual cycle have been less to non-existent.
- Mentally, strength training with Jodie has been an outlet for me to de-stress and ground myself when unexpected challenging life situations have happened.
- I have more energy now and have become more active.
